Meet Peter!

Peter is a loyal companion who believes life is best spent by your side. He's an incredibly affectionate, gentle soul whose greatest joy is simply being close to his people. Whether it's curling up beside you on the couch, resting his head in your lap, or showering you with kisses, Peter is happiest when he's sharing love with the people he trusts. He's done wonderfully in a home environment and is house-trained, sleeps soundly through the night, and rides quietly in the car. Peter enjoys spending time outside exploring but would much rather come back inside to snuggle up next to you.

Peter is also a social boy who genuinely enjoys the company of other dogs. He's polite and respectful when meeting new canine friends, and once comfortable, he loves to romp and play. He can become excited when he sees another dog while on leash and isn't able to go say hello, sometimes letting out enthusiastic barks because he's eager to make a new friend. Fortunately, he's a smart, eager-to-please dog who responds well to guidance. Peter welcomes affection from everyone he meets and handles being touched all over with remarkable patience.

Ideal Home

Peter is looking for someone who will appreciate the wonderful dog he already is and continue helping him become his very best self.

Ongoing Health

Peter is up to date on all vaccinations and microchipped. He has received a wellness check and is medically cleared for adoption.

Training & Support

Peter is house-trained. Continued positive reinforcement and consistency are recommended for his leash excitement.
