Max

Meet Max! This sweet, young adult dog weighs around 50 pounds and is ready to find his forever home. Max would make an excellent hiking companion, and we're told he loves to swim, go for walks, and play fetch. He has a history of doing well with other dogs, though we haven't had the chance to test this ourselves yet. Max seems to know several commands and is a good leash walker, though he can get distracted by things like squirrels or rabbits. We're still learning all about his preferences, so we encourage you to come meet him to see if you connect!

Ideal Home

Max would be a great hiking partner and enjoys swimming, walks, and fetch.

Ongoing Health

Max is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Max is good on leash most of the time but can be distracted by wildlife. Continued practice with his commands will be beneficial.
