Vinny is a handsome 9-month-old pup who's already around 80 pounds and still growing! We expect him to reach over 100 pounds, with a build more like a Great Dane than a typical dog. Vinny isn't a doodle; he's a unique blend of Olde English Sheepdog and Black Russian Terrier. From his Black Russian Terrier heritage, he's inherited strong guardian instincts.
Vinny is seeking a specific type of home with an experienced owner who understands guardian breeds and is dedicated to his ongoing training and socialization. He has shown protective tendencies, which is normal for his breed mix. He needs a confident handler to guide him through adolescence and help him mature into a well-adjusted adult dog. Vinny is a true sweetheart to his loved ones and is dearly cherished by our team. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs of all sizes, is house and crate trained, and excels at doggy daycare. He walks nicely on a leash, knows some commands, and doesn't exhibit resource guarding towards people or dogs. Vinny also adores water and would be thrilled to have a pool to splash in!
