Emmet in foster care

Meet Emmet! Emmet is a playful, affectionate, and full of life pup currently in foster care. He's wonderful with dogs and kids, and while his experience with cats is unknown, he's young enough to learn to get along with them! This sweet boy and his littermates came to Wags from a backyard breeder, and unfortunately, they have had to pay the price for careless breeding. One of Emmet's littermates sadly passed away due to a suspected congenital issue. We've conducted bloodwork on Emmet, and while he is currently bright, happy, and showing no symptoms of illness, some bloodwork levels have come back abnormal. We can't predict what this means for his future – it could be nothing, or it could be something that affects his lifespan.

Ideal Home

We are looking for a special adopter who can love Emmet fully, embracing the uncertainty of his future. He needs a home that can provide him with an incredible, loved life for whatever time he has.

Ongoing Health

Emmet's bloodwork shows some abnormal levels. While he is currently healthy, we cannot predict his long-term health prognosis.

Training & Support

Emmet is a young pup and will benefit from continued positive reinforcement training and socialization.
