Spike JuM

Spike is a smart, silly, playful, and happy goofball who is incredibly grateful to be alive! He was rescued from a high-kill shelter in West Texas and has been receiving heartworm treatment and enjoying life while waiting for his forever family. Spike is a dominant male and would do best as the only dog or with a submissive canine friend. As a Husky, he is very active and requires a family knowledgeable about the breed, as they are known escape artists and shed considerably! Spike would love to leave the heat of Texas for a cooler climate where air conditioning is appreciated but cooler weather is even more amazing. He is ready to find his loving home!

Ideal Home

Spike needs a family that is knowledgeable about the Husky breed. He is an active dog who needs plenty of exercise and a secure environment, as he is an escape artist. He would prefer a submissive dog friend or to be the only dog in the home. Spike would love to live in a cooler climate.

Ongoing Health

Spike has successfully completed his heartworm treatment.

Training & Support

Spike is not yet house-trained. As a Husky, he sheds a lot and needs an active lifestyle.

• Out-of-state adoption fee: $400 (includes transport)
• A $50 temporary fuel fee will be included for out-of-state adoptions.

Spike is currently located in Brattleboro, VT. Transport is available to your area if you are adopting out of state.
