Lex is the epitome of a good time! She's a bouncy, playful dog who is loving of everyone and excited to make new friends, both human and canine. Lex is a 56lb Pitbull Cattle Dog mix with beautiful cattle spotting and adorable pointed ears, a true 56lbs of pure happiness. She's the queen of zoomies, kisses, and tug-of-war. When she first arrived, she greeted everyone with a wagging tail and a huge smile, instantly showering us with love. Lex is full of energy and loves to play hard with other dogs, but she's considerate and good at reading vibes. She seems to enjoy the company of other females and would likely do well in a home with either males or females, as long as they're ready for all-day play!
Ideal Home
Lex would thrive in a home with a yard and an active owner who is familiar with the energy and spirit of cattle dogs. She is definitely a wild child and will bring immense joy to the right family. While Lex hasn't been tested with children, we believe she would love kids, especially older ones who can keep up with her playful energy. She is not a good fit for homes with cats, as she can be too rough when excited.

Training & Support
Lex is still working on her leash skills; she can pull a bit when she's eager to meet new people. However, she is a bright girl who would train very well with consistent guidance.

Lex is located in Houston, Texas. Transport is available nationwide through our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. You will have the opportunity to track her journey in real-time and receive photo updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
