She enjoys spending time with other dogs but is also perfectly content to entertain herself, whether that's exploring the yard, taking in the scents, or finding a comfy spot to relax. Shayla has a good balance of energy, enjoying short bursts of play like a quick romp with her canine pals or a brief game of tug before she's ready to settle down. She gets along beautifully with other dogs of similar or larger size and meets new dogs with quiet observation rather than boisterous enthusiasm.

Shayla truly shines in a home environment. She's fantastic with cats, having lived peacefully alongside them and even engaging in gentle play. She's also been around babies and older teens, displaying a calm and respectful demeanor that makes her a wonderful addition to many types of families. On leash, Shayla is a pleasure to walk. She might need a few moments to get comfortable at the start of a walk, but she quickly settles into a relaxed pace, enjoying the opportunity to sniff and explore.
