Hi! My name is Fleck, and I'm told I'm up for adoption! I think this is great news because it means I get to find my very own family. I'm a 3-4 month old puppy, about 22 pounds, with some pretty handsome markings, adorable freckled feet, and what my foster family calls "distinguished gentleman" looks. I try not to let it go to my head. P.S. Don't forget to zoom in on my freckled feet. They're kind of my best feature. My hobbies include collecting squeaky toys, chewing on appropriate things, riding in the car like a professional, giving world-class cuddles, following my humans around, and going on any adventure you have in mind! I can show you a video of my recent boat ride! I've met teenagers and think they're pretty awesome. I would do good with kids with respectful dog manners. I did fantastic at the vet, and I've started learning leash walking. I've only been on a leash a couple of times, but I'm already showing lots of potential.
Ideal Home
I'd love another dog to play with, but it's not required. I'd be just as happy being your one-and-only as long as I get plenty of love, toys, and cuddle time. My perfect home will understand that I'm still a puppy and have a few things left to learn. Puppies under 6 months of age should not be routinely left alone for a full workday. My adopter should have a plan for midday potty breaks, enrichment, and socialization if away from home for extended periods.
Ongoing Health
I did fantastic at the vet.
Training & Support
I know "sit" (most of the time), and am already such a rockstar in learning not to jump on guests. I sleep quietly in my crate all night and settle down quickly when my humans leave the house. I'm doing really well with house training, use a doggy door, and only have the occasional puppy accident.
