Meet Teddy! This adorable 1/2 Shih Tzu, 1/2 Bichon mix is a super happy guy who was born on July 12, 2025, and is almost done growing. He currently weighs about 8 lbs. Teddy was released from a breeder because he was an older dog who hadn't sold, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with him! He's vet-checked and ready to find his forever family. Teddy has a beautiful cream, apricot, tan, and off-white coat and does not shed, so he will require regular grooming. He gets along wonderfully with cats, kids, and other dogs, and truly loves everyone he meets. If you're looking for a buddy, Teddy is your guy! He's also leash trained and has experience with crates and doggy doors.

Teddy would thrive in a home where he can share his boundless happiness. An ideal adopter will have their upcoming vacations out of the way before applying.
Ongoing Health
Teddy has been vet-checked, neutered, vaccinated for Parvo and Distemper, and received a rabies vaccine. He has also been fecal tested (and is clean!), treated with Frontline, and will go home with 30 days of heartworm prevention. He has a slight underbite, which is common for Shihtzus. All vet paperwork will be provided.
Training & Support
Teddy is crate trained and doggy door trained. While he has some leash skills, he's ready to continue learning and growing with his new family.

Transportation
Teddy is located in Antwerp, Ohio (45813). Approved families are always welcome to visit. Transport is available every other Wednesday morning to Maumee if needed.
