Luke, I'm all ears

Luke is approximately 15 months old and is a handsome fellow with a very shiny jet black coat, white on his chest, and the pointiest "Spock" ears! He's part Labrador Retriever, part American Pitbull Terrier, and part German Shepherd, which explains his unique ears. Luke and his sibling, Leia, were found roaming the streets and were very reliant on each other. After being rescued, they've been working with a trainer to become more independent, and Luke is doing well with being separated. He's a sweetheart who loves pets and belly rubs and enjoys his walks.

Ideal Home

Luke would thrive in a home with a yard to play in and a cool bed for him to relax on. He would also benefit from having a canine companion, as he grew up with his sibling and enjoys the company of other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Luke is heartworm negative, neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Luke is potty trained and crate trained for naps and nighttime. He is still a puppy and enjoys digging and chewing, so providing him with appropriate outlets for his energy will be key. He responds well to the "dog whistle" for redirection during play. Man's Best Friend partners with us and can provide additional information on Luke's personality and training.
