Rex

Rex is an 8-month-old Husky and Terrier mix who came to us because his previous family could no longer care for him. He was born in February 2018. Rex is a special boy with a lot of love to give! Despite facing challenges like severe separation anxiety and being deaf, Rex has made incredible progress. He participated in a training program at a local prison where he learned basic commands and some special skills. He's now ready to find his forever family. Rex is deeply devoted to his people and will be a loyal companion. He's not suited for a social butterfly lifestyle, but if you're looking for a dedicated best friend, Rex is your guy! He has bonded well with other dogs in our care, and we believe he would thrive with another canine companion to help him navigate life. He's also good with older children.

Ideal Home

Rex would do best in a home with another dog to keep him company and older children. He is protective of his people and will form a strong bond with his chosen family.

Ongoing Health

Rex is deaf.

Training & Support

Rex has learned basic commands and some specialized skills through a prison training program. He previously struggled with separation anxiety but has shown great improvement.
