Helene is an adult Husky/Shepherd mix whose name means “shining light,” and she truly embodies that with her humor and intelligence, evident in her striking mismatched eyes. She's a joy to be around, always ready for playtime with toys and other dogs. While she's happy to give gentle licks and snuggles to cats who are calm, she will chase them if they try to run. Helene is a fantastic cuddler, loves to smile, and is generally a very happy pup. As she settles into her home, you'll hear her husky "talk" more often, especially when she disagrees with not getting an extra treat – it’s all in good fun! Helene would do well as a solo dog or with other dogs. She can coexist with stationary cats but will chase those who run.
