Meet Rio!

Rio is a 4 ½-year-old Golden/doodle with a heart as big as his 65-pound frame! This affectionate boy is a true Velcro dog who will happily follow you from room to room and be your constant companion. If you're looking for a loyal best friend, Rio may be your perfect match. He's smart, eager to please, and learns quickly. In fact, Rio may think he's a lap dog, and honestly, we're not convinced otherwise!

Ideal Home

Rio has lived successfully with young children and gets along wonderfully with both smaller and larger dogs. He is settling in beautifully in foster care and responds nicely to correction as he learns the dynamics of a multi-dog household.

Ongoing Health

Rio is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. As a Golden/doodle, Rio's coat is often considered more allergy-friendly than many breeds. However, his previous family did report some allergy symptoms, so we cannot guarantee that he is hypoallergenic.

Training & Support

Rio is crate trained. Like many doodles, Rio will need regular grooming to keep his coat healthy and mat-free.
