Mason

Mason is a charming 6-month-old, 32-pound Miniature American Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and a spirit eager to explore! He arrived with us on June 11th, having spent his first two months in a county shelter kennel. Initially, unfamiliar things like leashes and crates made him anxious, often resulting in submissive urination. But through patience and kindness, Mason has blossomed! He now happily crates for meals, has bonded with other dogs, and is learning to come when called. His most striking quality is his eagerness to learn and please his people.

Ideal Home

Mason would thrive in a home with someone experienced with young dogs or excited to continue his training. A confident, playful canine companion would be a huge bonus, as he draws reassurance from his best friend, Patty. He needs a securely fenced yard to enjoy his puppy energy and would prefer a cat-free home.

Ongoing Health

Mason is fully vetted and on monthly preventatives.

Training & Support

Mason is crate trained and house trained. He has also shown he can be trusted when left out of his crate. He's still learning, but his eagerness to please is a great foundation for continued training.
