Rubia is a beautiful 3-year-old galgo who weighs 43lbs. She is just beginning her new life after a journey from Spain. These incredible dogs often come from heartbreaking backgrounds, but Rubia is now safe and getting the chance she deserves for a future filled with love and comfort. She is currently settling into shelter life, decompressing, and learning that the world can be a kind place. As we get to know her individually, we will share more about her personality, comfort levels, and specific needs to ensure she is matched with the best forever home.

Ideal Home

Rubia will need a patient and loving family willing to give her time to adjust and blossom at her own pace. A securely fenced yard is required to keep this sensitive, athletic pup safe as she settles into her new life.

Ongoing Health

Rubia's adoption fee includes her spay or neuter surgery, microchip, age-appropriate vaccines, heartworm, flea, and tick disease testing, fecal check, and any medical care needed while staying with us.

Training & Support

Rubia is still learning to trust and decompress. Patience and understanding will be key to helping her feel secure and confident in her new home.
