Mavis

Mavis is a gentle, friendly girl with a sweet personality that shines once she settles in. Born around February 2024, she spent the beginning of her life in a remote farmhouse with an elderly woman who loved her. When her owner was evicted, Mavis found herself needing a new start, but she has remained kind and loving. Mavis enjoys attention and being near her humans. She can be a little reserved with unfamiliar dogs, so she might do very well as an only dog. However, she could also live with another dog if introductions are slow, thoughtful, and guided by someone experienced. Mavis has learned to walk on a leash and use a crate, and she's doing great with both. She just needs a little patience and a calm environment to feel secure. Mavis is the kind of dog whose bond grows deeper with time, becoming a loyal and loving companion. She deserves a home where she can relax, feel safe, and be loved.
