Jericho

Jericho is a handsome 3-year-old, 54-pound tan pit bull with a gentle spirit and a quiet nature. He's neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and crate trained, even tucking himself into bed if his kennel door is left open! Jericho's most remarkable quality is that he rarely barks, making him a peaceful companion. He's great with children aged 5 and up, but he can become scared and potentially react around smaller children and toddlers. He also gets along well with other dogs. While he was cat tested, his curiosity makes him unsuitable for a home with feline friends.

Ideal Home

Jericho would thrive in a home with experienced dog owners who can provide confident, consistent, and committed training. He needs a home without cats.

Training & Support

Jericho has completed a four-week training program and continues to work with his trainer. He is not a first-time dog owner's pet. He can be pushy, mouthy, and jumpy, and he lacks door manners, but he responds beautifully to structure. He is a smart and eager learner who thrives with guidance. As a power chewer, he will need plenty of sturdy toys, like Nylabones.
