Babe Ruth is a sweet, cuddly 40lb American Staffordshire Terrier mix with an estimated birthday of March 21, 2022. He was rescued by Sunnyside from a hoarding situation where he was kept outside in a crate without a proper bottom, left in the woods/backyard. Despite that rough beginning, Babe Ruth has held onto the kindest, most loving spirit. He is the definition of a gentle love bug. He adores being close to his people, whether that's curling up for snuggles, resting his head on your lap, or quietly following you around the house just to be near you. With that sweet face and gentle spirit, he radiates calmness, which rescue volunteers have found it calms them. We also believe he'd be great with kids and cats based on his consistent calm, unreactive demeanor; he'd be a great fit as an ESA dog. Ground transports are used and are trackable via the Life360 app, with updates provided along the way. You will be able to follow your adopted dog on transport using these services.
