About Peter Pan

Meet Peter Pan! This goofy, lovable guy has a big personality and an even bigger heart. He's known for his adorable toothy grin, his permanently floppy ear, and his enthusiasm for just about everything life has to offer. Peter absolutely loves other dogs and would likely thrive in a home with canine companions who enjoy a little horseplay. He is incredibly gentle with smaller dogs and puppies, happily sharing toys and cuddle space. He truly enjoys being part of a pack.

One of Peter's favorite things in the world is playtime! Fetch? Sure. Tug? Absolutely. If there's an opportunity to play, Peter is ready. He also loves walks and would happily accompany you on adventures all day long. He regularly goes potty on walks and strongly prefers doing his business outside. He's still learning the best way to let his people know when he needs to go out, but he has made tremendous progress and continues to improve every day. Peter is very smart and learns quickly, picking up routines and new skills with impressive speed. When he's not playing or exploring, he's a sweet cuddle bug who loves belly rubs and affection. At bedtime, he's happy to sleep on the floor nearby or curl up in bed with you. Peter does have a big bark and an impressive howl, but he uses his voice purposefully, most often to let you know when he needs to go outside or when he's feeling frustrated about being left behind.

Ideal Home

Peter would likely do best in a home without young children due to his size, energy level, and enthusiasm for play. A cat-free home would likely be the easiest fit as he is still learning to coexist with cats. He would thrive with an active family that enjoys walks, playtime, and having a loyal companion by their side.

Ongoing Health

No specific health concerns are noted in the description.

Training & Support

Peter is still learning the best way to communicate when he needs to go outside, but he is making great progress. He has a big bark and howl, which he uses purposefully. He is very curious about cats and can become excited or bothered by their presence, but he is learning to respect them.
