JoJo

JoJo is a handsome 3-year-old Miniature Schnauzer who weighs about 20 pounds. He's a salt and pepper boy with cropped ears and a docked tail. JoJo had a difficult past, and he's understandably timid around men and loud noises. He's on medication to help with his anxiety, but with a little patience and love, he's a happy-go-lucky guy who loves to play with his toys and follow his people around. He's a snuggle bug who enjoys being on your lap and will happily sleep by your head. JoJo also enjoys walks in quiet neighborhoods and is a good boy when it comes to grooming. He's come such a long way in rescue and will truly thrive in a caring home that will continue to help him build his confidence.

Ideal Home

JoJo needs a quiet, women-only home with a securely fenced yard. He would also benefit from having another small, laid-back dog in the home to help him feel more secure.

Ongoing Health

JoJo is on inexpensive anxiety medication. All dogs are spayed/neutered, brought up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, dewormed, and microchipped prior to placement. They also receive a dental cleaning, if needed, and are bathed/groomed before adoption.

Training & Support

JoJo is still working on building his confidence, especially around new people and noises. Continuing his training and providing him with a stable, predictable environment will be key to his success.
