Abe

Abe is a handsome young boy with a heart of gold! He's a little shy at first but once he warms up, he's your best friend. He enjoys playing with toys and going for walks. He's a smart boy and eager to please his people. Abe would love to find a home where he can get lots of love and attention.

Ideal Home

Abe would thrive in a home where he can receive plenty of love and attention. He is a bit shy initially, so a patient and understanding family would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

All dogs adopted through Wags will be up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and heartworm negative before adoption (age appropriate). All dogs are given monthly flea/tick preventative, monthly heartworm preventative (age appropriate), and are dewormed regularly. Abe is microchipped.

Training & Support

Abe is a smart boy and eager to please, which will make training a rewarding experience. Providing him with consistent positive reinforcement and a loving environment will help him blossom.

• We require a home visit and vet reference.
• We do not do same-day adoptions.
• If you rent, we need a copy of your lease stating pets are allowed.
• If you've had a pet in the last two years, list that vet as your reference.
• If you are a first-time pet owner or haven't had a pet in over two years, provide a personal reference who can attest to your ability to care for a pet.

Transportation

Abe is located at our rescue center at 34 County Road 2266, Brundidge, AL 36010. We are not open to the public without an appointment. Transportation arrangements can be discussed upon application approval.
