Penelope

Penelope is a sweet, gentle, and affectionate 13-year-old weighing 10 lbs. She came into our care with her friends Margo and Natasha after their owner passed away. Penelope gets along well with other dogs and was unfazed by a curious cat during her foster stay. She embodies a "go with the flow" attitude, happy to chill at home, go for walks, or take a car ride. Penelope is described as spry for her age, able to navigate stairs and hop onto furniture. She appears to be potty-trained, with only a minor accident on her first night in foster care. She enjoyed trying out all the comfy spots in the house for naps. Penelope's easygoing nature makes her a wonderful companion who could fit into many different family types.

Ideal Home

Penelope would thrive in a home where she can relax and enjoy her golden years. Her foster parent noted her adaptability with other pets, including cats.

Ongoing Health

Penelope is receiving a Frosted Fling for a two-week period to allow us to learn more about her in a home environment.

Training & Support

Penelope is house-trained and shows no concerning behaviors. She was a little anxious on her first night in foster care but quickly settled in.
