Meet Gus! This handsome 1.5-year-old Black and Tan Coonhound mix weighs in at 61 pounds and is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on his shots. Gus has a heart as big as his soft, floppy ears! Though he was once left behind by his former humans, Gus's spirit remains undimmed. He greets each day with enthusiasm and a willingness to love and trust generously. Gus is learning to relax and enjoy being a pup, finding joy in simple pleasures like basking in the sunshine and taking in the world through his incredible sense of smell. He's a great companion for outdoor adventures like camping, hiking, or fishing, always happy to pause for a good sniff break before settling in for a cozy evening indoors.

Ideal Home

Gus would love an active home where he can be an adventure partner for camping, hiking, or fishing. A big, comfy bed for him to relax in after a day of exploring is a must. He does wonderfully with other dogs and is great with kids. We are still learning about his compatibility with cats.

Gus is neutered, microchipped, and current on all his shots.

Gus is house-trained and crate-trained, making him an easy addition to a loving home.
