Nueces

Nueces is a soulful 34.17 lb pup with expressive eyes that will melt your heart! She’s a devoted companion who stays close to her human family and isn’t a huge cuddler, but she loves being near you and enjoys occasional belly rubs. She's a smart and fast learner, though she's still working on not jumping for her food. A stern "sit" reminds her of good manners. Nueces is a natural protector of her pack, both human and canine, and will bark at newcomers, but she stops immediately once introductions are made.

Ideal Home

Nueces would thrive in a home where she can stay close to her people. She's a bit unsure around cats and needs some time to build trust.

Nueces is in good health.

Training & Support

Nueces is food-motivated and responds well to treats for training. She knows "sit" and "gentle" in English and Spanish. She is learning not to jump for her food. She is house-trained and tries to go away from her living area when she needs to relieve herself. She has not chewed on things.
