Irish Bailey is a handsome 1.5-year-old, 79 lb, male Terrier/Bull Terrier mix with adorable ears and a heart full of love! He was rescued running loose and injured near a highway, but he healed quickly and is now a strapping young pup. Bailey is a friendly boy who enjoys his foster family, including the resident dogs. He's learned to be a good pack member and loves to play and nap with his canine companions. He also enjoys tug-of-war, fetch, long walks, and jogging. Bailey has undergone obedience training and knows basic commands, but he's a strong dog who would benefit from an adopter who can manage his strength. He's also potty trained and crate trained, though he prefers to snuggle with his humans at night. While the breed can be a bit stubborn, Bailey is smart, loving, and eager to find a patient leader to devote his doggy heart to.
Ideal Home
Bailey would thrive in a home with an older, calm, yet playful dog companion to learn from. He enjoys a fenced-in backyard and a family that can provide him with plenty of activity and attention.
