Meet Goyo!
Goyo is one of the sweetest souls we have ever rescued. For weeks, he wandered alone, too exhausted and scared to let anyone catch him until one determined woman waited for him and finally got him the help he desperately needed. He arrived underweight, anemic, and battling ehrlichia, mange, and later we discovered he also had TVT. He completed all his treatments like a champ and is now healthy and ready for a fresh start.
Goyo is a quiet, gentle boy who absolutely loves affection. He is great with other dogs, mostly ignoring them, and melts when people give him attention. Every now and then, his playful side pops out—a little jump, a soft hand nibble—just enough to remind you he still has joy in him. He is a male, mixed breed with a Shepherd/Malinois appearance, born in April 2019, and weighs about 18 kg. He's calm, sweet, and deeply loyal, and his tail is docked (likely born that way). Goyo has survived so much, and all he wants now is a quiet, loving home where he can finally rest and be adored.

Transportation
Our rescue is located near Bucerias, Mexico. We facilitate adoptions to the US and Canada. Approved adopters are matched with flight companions traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home. During the summer months, if a Canadian flight companion is unavailable, dogs may fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border.
