Kane

Kane is a sweet, year-old, medium-sized pup with a likely beagle-hound mix! He's a people-pleaser who gets along great with all the dogs he's met. Kane is fully vetted and is doing wonderfully with leash training. He has a fun, curious energy and loves to be near his foster family, whether following them around or snuggling up in sight. He's already picking up on commands and is a hit at adoption events, especially when playing fetch – he's pretty good at bringing it back! Kane is also a big cuddlebug who loves to give kisses. He's just under 50 lbs and likely close to his adult size.

Ideal Home

Kane would thrive in a home where he can be close to his people and enjoys playtime. He is not a good fit for homes with cats.

Ongoing Health

Kane came to us underweight and has been gaining weight nicely. All vetting to date is complete.

Training & Support

While Kane is learning leash manners and commands, housetraining with rescue dogs can be a work in progress and should be expected to have an adjustment period in a new home. We highly recommend a 2-week shutdown and decompression period for a smooth transition.
