This approximately 8-month-old, 35 lb sweetheart is estimated to be a Lab/Pittie mix, though with rescues, the breed and age are always a delightful mystery. What's not a mystery is her incredible sweetness and gentle nature. Poppy Lou has a way of melting hearts with her impossibly cute panda-bear face, her perfectly floppy ears, and an innocent gaze that makes you want to shower her with affection. She’s not a whirlwind of puppy energy; instead, she’s content to be by your side, soaking up love and enjoying life's simple pleasures. Her gentle disposition shines through, making her a wonderful companion for everyone, including children aged 3 to 16. She's also a fantastic friend to other dogs, sharing her sweet and respectful personality with her canine pals, though she’s also up for a playful romp now and then. While Poppy Lou can be a little shy in new situations, her loving and affectionate personality quickly emerges once she feels comfortable. She’s already a pro at crate and potty training, walks nicely on a leash with a little more practice, and is wonderfully treat-motivated, mastering the "sit" with the gentlest of takes.
