260807 Ozzy

Ozzy is an almost five-year-old male Dachshund/Catahoula mix, weighing around 35 lbs. He was surrendered to us because his family had a new baby and felt he was too active for their household. Despite that, Ozzy is an absolute cuddle bug! He's already house-trained and crate-trained, and while he's generally pretty chill, he does enjoy chewing on things.

Ideal Home

Ozzy would thrive in a home where he can get plenty of love and attention. He does have a tendency to chew, so providing him with appropriate chew toys will be important.

Ongoing Health

Ozzy's adoption fee includes his spay/neuter surgery, basic canine immunizations (DHPP-CPV & Bordatella Intranasal), de-wormings, a one-year rabies vaccination (if old enough), a heartworm test (if over five months old), and a microchip. He will also receive a certificate for a free health examination at a participating veterinarian.

Training & Support

Ozzy is already house-trained and crate-trained. He does enjoy chewing, so it will be beneficial to provide him with plenty of engaging chew toys to direct that energy.
