Ideal Home

Sachet is still settling in, and we're learning more about her preferences. We recommend all household members meet her before adoption, especially those under 18 and any decision-makers.

Ongoing Health

All dogs receive a spay/neuter surgery and are vaccinated before adoption.

Training & Support

We recommend slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions for any potential dog siblings, allowing your new companion time to decompress after arriving home. We can arrange dog-to-dog meet and greets at the shelter. Please be prepared to show proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination for your current dog(s).

Transportation

Sachet is located at Chicago Animal Care and Control at 2741 S. Western Ave., Chicago, IL. Walk-in visitors are welcome and helped on a first-come, first-served basis. If you plan to adopt on the day of your visit, please arrive before 5:30pm. Visitors arriving after 5:30pm can view animals in Pavilions A-B-C until 7pm.
