Happy Trail

Meet Happy Trail! While her profile lists her as an adult, she's got the playful energy, boundless curiosity, and classic Chihuahua spunk you'd expect from a puppy. She may be small, but she has a big personality and has shown a very sweet nature in her foster home. Happy is a quick learner and is already working hard on her guard-dog skills, though her speed also means she can be a lightning bolt when a door or gate is left open, so vigilance will be key!

Ideal Home

Happy Trail is working on her housetraining, so her ideal home will have an adopter who is patient, consistent, and ready for frequent potty breaks, lots of supervision, and plenty of activity. She would greatly benefit from a fenced yard where she can safely stretch her legs and explore.

Ongoing Health

Happy Trail is heartworm positive. Renegade Paws Rescue will cover the cost of her treatment. She is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Happy is still learning her manners and will do best with someone who can provide structure and help her channel her puppy energy. She loves to "borrow" socks and cannot be trusted around trash cans, so be prepared for some playful mischief!
