Meet Buddy!

Buddy is a 6-year-old, 37-pound gentle and sensitive boy with the kindest soul. He's a bit shy and still learning to trust, but every step he takes is a sign of the love waiting within him. Buddy is house-trained and crate-trained, and he thrives in a calm and predictable environment, finding comfort in his crate away from loud noises. While the outside world can be overwhelming, on walks he may become nervous around unfamiliar dogs or children and prefers to move away or hide. He peacefully coexists with his foster siblings, gaining confidence from their calm presence, and relies on them to help him navigate new situations. Buddy is still working on conquering stairs, but with patience and encouragement, he's growing braver every day. Once he trusts you, you'll find an incredibly gentle dog who longs to feel safe and loved. Watching Buddy blossom is a truly special experience that highlights the power of kindness and patience.

Ideal Home

Buddy would thrive in a quiet household with a predictable routine and an adopter who is home often. A calm, confident canine companion would be ideal to help him continue building confidence. A home without young children would allow him the peaceful environment he needs to grow.
