Moose

Moose is a 9-month-old shepsky with striking blue eyes and a personality as big as his heart! This handsome boy is affectionate, energetic, and always ready for an adventure with his favorite people. He's a fun-loving pup who enjoys exploring, hiking, playing, and going for long walks, always walking nicely on a leash. Moose is dog-friendly and cat-friendly, and would make a wonderful companion for an active family. He's incredibly people-oriented and loves to be close to his humans, whether you're relaxing at home or heading out. He would do well as an only dog, soaking up all the attention, but he also gets along well with other animals. Moose is highly intelligent and very food-motivated, making him a quick learner who beams with pride when he's called a "good boy."

Ideal Home

An active family that understands Moose is still learning and can provide continued guidance. A home with a parent who works from home or stays at home would be ideal, allowing for more frequent opportunities for housebreaking. Yards MUST be adequately and fully fenced; electric or underground fences are not accepted.

Ongoing Health

Moose is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He is heartworm negative and is kept on heartworm and flea preventatives.

Training & Support

Moose will thrive with a family willing to continue his training and help him build good habits, especially with housebreaking. He benefits from positive reinforcement and his food motivation makes him an excellent candidate for training. Continued guidance and appropriate management around food and toys with other dogs will help him succeed.

Transporation

Moose is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas, but can be transported to other states if it's the best home for him. Transport fees will apply for out-of-state adopters.
