At around one year old and just 7 pounds, Cookie is a tiny Chihuahua mix with a personality as big as her heart! She has an adorable underbite and soulful eyes that will melt your heart. Cookie is a sweet girl who is looking for a patient and understanding adopter to help her feel safe and loved. She can be a bit anxious in new situations and needs a calm, predictable environment to truly thrive. While she may take a little time to warm up, once she trusts you, she will be an incredibly loyal and loving companion.

Ideal Home

Cookie would do best in a quiet, stable home where she can feel secure. Because of her small size and anxiety, she is not a good fit for a home with children. She would do well in a home with other small dogs, as she is currently fostering well with dogs up to 15lbs.

Ongoing Health

All of our dogs are vet-checked and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and spayed/neutered before transport. We cannot guarantee breed mix, as this is a guess based on appearance and any known history.

Training & Support

Cookie will benefit from slow introductions, gentle handling, and consistent routines. Patience and understanding will help her blossom into her best self.

Transportation

Cookie is currently located in South Mississippi. We welcome local and out-of-town adopters! For those further away, we offer virtual meet-and-greets and can arrange transport to many states in the Northeast. The adoption fee includes transport to the city listed on this listing, with transports running every 2-3 weeks. We cannot adopt to Rhode Island due to import restrictions.
