Meet our husky girl Lucy Van Pelt!

Lucy is a strong, intelligent, and affectionate 4-year-old husky who weighs around 45 lbs. She's known for her piercing blue eyes, devoted nature, and quick learning abilities. Lucy's foster family describes her as the smartest husky they've ever fostered and an absolute love bug who is deeply devoted to her pack. She was surrendered to a municipal shelter due to a skin condition but has since been nursed back to health and is thriving. Lucy is also very treat-motivated, making her eager to continue her training.

Ideal Home

Lucy would do best in a work-from-home environment or in a household with other dogs to keep her company during the day. She enjoys a structured routine with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation.

Ongoing Health

Lucy is healing perfectly from a past skin condition and is now on healthy foods. She is microchipped, spayed, and fully vaccinated.

Training & Support

Lucy is already house-trained and has shown remarkable progress in obedience training, being a quick learner and eager to please. She can be vocal when excited about food, but she is polite to visitors. She is devoted to her pack, including other dogs.
