Meet Chuck!

He's a little bit of sass and a whole lot of sweet! Chuck came into foster care when his previous owner could no longer care for him, and he has quickly won over everyone he meets.

Chuck is a senior gentleman, estimated to be around 12 years old, but don't let his age fool you—he still has plenty of personality! Chuck knows his name and comes when called. He is housebroken, has a healthy appetite, and believes that the big bed is exactly where he belongs at bedtime.

He gets along wonderfully with his foster family's other small dogs, although Chuck is pretty sure he's the one in charge of the whole crew! That's where his adorable sassy side shines through.

Chuck recently had a full veterinary workup, including a dental cleaning, and he is neutered. His bloodwork showed mildly elevated liver values, which his veterinarian believes are likely related to a liver shunt he's had since birth. Thankfully, it can be managed with a simple over-the-counter supplement.

When he's not supervising the household, Chuck enjoys playing with small toys and soaking up all the love and attention he can get.
