Ophelia (adoption fee 100)

Ophelia is a wonderful, calm, and easygoing girl who has already proven herself to be an amazing mother. She was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Texas while heavily pregnant and, despite her own youth, she lovingly cared for her puppies until they were all adopted. Now, it's Ophelia's turn to find her forever home! She is a large girl, weighing in at 72lbs, and is spayed and healthy. Ophelia gets along well with other dogs and is respectful of livestock. While she hasn't been formally tested with cats, her gentle temperament suggests she would likely do well, and we are happy to perform a cat test for interested adopters. She's also well on her way to being potty trained, using a dog door, and her intelligence means she should adapt to a new routine with ease.

• Missouri: Herculaneum (south of St Louis) - Friday evening
• Illinois: Collinsville (north of St. Louis) - Friday evening; Springfield - Friday evening; Bloomington / Normal - Friday evening; Oglesby - Saturday morning; Roscoe - Saturday morning
• Wisconsin: Sun Prairie - Saturday late morning; Fond du Lac - Saturday early afternoon
