Hi, my name is Ned! I'm a handsome boy with a coat that looks black but shines a beautiful brown in the sunshine, and I have adorable white toes. While my expression might look a little grumpy, I'm actually a very happy and loving pup! I made the journey to Minnesota with my siblings, Dusty and Lucky, as part of "The Three Amigos."
I'm a well-behaved boy who is already potty trained and kennel trained, though I'm trustworthy enough to have free roam when you're out. At night, I love to snuggle up right next to my foster mom. I'm a quick learner and already know "sit," "off," "come," and "wait." We're working on "down" and "stay," and I think training classes would be a fantastic way for us to bond! I have a blast chasing anything that rolls, playing tug-of-war with unstuffed toys, and going on treat hunts. I do have a bit of a counter-surfing habit, but I'm learning to "off" with consistent reminders. My foster mom calls me a "world-class snuggler" because I love to cuddle anytime, anywhere! My bark is a bit of a surprise; it doesn't sound like a tough pit bull but more like a tiny creature when I'm scared, though this doesn't happen often. I also enjoy wrestling with dogs of all sizes, and my foster mom affectionately calls me "Jaws" because I love to show off my gums when I play, making me look bigger and tougher than I am. Another nickname is "Snuffles" because I use a snuffle mat for my meals to help me slow down my eating and drinking. I get along well with my foster siblings, but I'm the smallest and sometimes get picked on by the bigger dogs. I really need another dog in my forever home for companionship, comfort, and playtime, as I'm not meant to be an only dog. I'm a friendly boy who gets along well with my 10-year-old human foster sister and her friends. I might bark and jump a little when meeting new people, but I'm just excited to be a good boy! I haven't met a cat yet, but I'm curious and would likely want to say hello.
Ideal Home
I'd love a family that has plenty of time to spend with me, playing, walking, and teaching me new things. I need another dog to live with for companionship and comfort.
Ongoing Health
No specific health conditions are noted in my description, but I am a fast drinker and my foster mom rations my water.
Training & Support
I'm working on "down" and "stay" and would benefit from continued training classes. I am a bit of a counter surfer but am learning.
