Lucy

I’m Lucy, a sweet and silly girl about a year old with big, soulful eyes and a heart full of love! My journey started rough; I was found injured and unable to walk on the side of the highway in Miami, FL. It was a long road to recovery, but day by day, I got stronger. From barely being able to lift my head, to standing, and then… I ran! Now, I'm feeling better than ever and am a healthy, happy medium-sized mix, though I am still building back muscle. I’m incredibly affectionate and a total “Velcro dog” in the best way possible, always wanting to be near my people. I love other dogs and would be happiest with a playful pup friend to share my life with. I don’t take any moment for granted and wake up excited to just be here, eager to share my love and find my forever family.

Ideal Home

Lucy would be happiest in a home with a playful canine friend, as she loves other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Lucy is currently healthy and happy, but she is still building back muscle after her past injuries.

Training & Support

Lucy is a confident and loving dog who is eager to please. With her sweet and silly nature, she is sure to bring joy to any home.
