Hi, I'm Patty! I'm a sweet, curious, and energetic puppy who's looking for someone to go on long walks with, cuddle up next to, and show me the ropes of my new world. I can be a little shy and timid when I first meet new people or start a new activity because I'm not sure what's expected of me, but I warm up quickly! My foster mom loves my cute heart-shaped nose and my little tail. While I'm missing part of my tail, I promise I'm not missing any personality! I'm originally from Texas, so I really enjoy snuggling up in a warm blanket, especially since it's a bit chilly up north. I sleep quietly in my kennel at night and I'm doing a great job with potty training with frequent breaks outside. I'll need some help continuing to learn manners and how to walk nicely on a leash, but I'm very treat-motivated and eager to please! I'm a puppy, so I love to play with toys, especially bones and chewies. My foster mom throws balls for me, but I'd rather she go get them! She's also working on teaching me not to jump up when I greet people, which I'm still learning. I've met people of all ages, including little ones, and I adore everyone! I do sometimes jump up to say hello and let you know I'm here and would love some pets. I've met a cat who seems to like me, and I think we'll become great friends. I've also met some bigger dogs and I learn a lot from them. I know when they're done playing and I'll go find a toy instead. I enjoy running and chasing them in the yard, and they seem to like playing with me too. They chase the ball my foster mom throws, but I don't see the point and just wait for them to come back. I'm looking for someone who can see past my initial timidity and recognize what an amazing pup I am! My ideal person will continue to teach me manners, take me on walks, and cuddle with me. In return, I'll give you kisses, love, and endless laughs – pinky promise!
