Copper

Copper is a curious, nose-to-the-ground kind of guy who likes to take in the world, once sniff at a time. When you first meet him, he may seem a little aloof, but give him a moment to sniff and explore, and you’ll quickly see his sweet, affectionate side truly shine. Copper is a total lovebug. He enjoys leaning in for hugs, flopping into laps, and soaking up attention from his people. He’s friendly, outgoing, and has a wonderfully goofy personality that makes him a joy to be around.

Copper loves his toys, especially soft squeaky ones, and you’ll often find him happily carrying them off to his bed to enjoy some solo playtime. He does appreciate having his own space while chewing or playing, so a home that respects his boundaries will help him feel most comfortable. This handsome guy is learning his basics, already knows sit, and loves to connect with his people, especially when toys or treats are involved.

Copper would do best in a home with mature kids (16+) who understand his need for space at times. Copper has potential with the right dog friend with proper intros, and no kitty cats please.
