Duck

Meet Duck, also known as Uncle Buck! This approximately 10-year-old, 30-pound pug mix is a jolly, chunky, and lovable guy who's always up for a cuddle on the couch or a nap in his crate. Duck is a house-trained fellow who adores his food and treats, and he's always ready for a walk. He greets every human with enthusiasm and has met older children, but he'd likely do well with respectful younger ones too. Duck is comfortable around calm dogs who don't overwhelm him, and while a canine companion isn't required, he might enjoy a laid-back doggy friend. We haven't had the opportunity to see how he interacts with cats. Duck is a fantastic travel buddy and would happily join you for a Starbucks pup cup!

Ideal Home

Duck would thrive with a person or family who is retired or works from home, as he experiences some anxiety and needs to be with his people most of the time.

Ongoing Health

Duck had a minor condition called "cherry eyes," which has been successfully repaired by our vet. He also underwent a dental procedure that included teeth extractions. He takes daily medication for anxiety.

Training & Support

Duck is housebroken and enjoys walks. His foster mom describes him as the most chill, laid-back, and easiest dog she has ever fostered.
