Chucky

Meet Chucky, a 4-year-old, 77-pound Staffy mix who is a true gentle giant! Chucky believes he's still a lap dog and his favorite activity is snuggling up close to his people. He's a laid-back companion who enjoys leisurely walks, playing with toys, and lounging on the couch. Chucky is incredibly loyal and thrives on love and security. He's a pro at "sit" and "stay" and is learning to manage his excitement around small critters. While he prefers a cozy corner, he's comfortable with a baby gate and is making great progress with a consistent routine.

Ideal Home

Chucky gets along well with smaller female dogs but not so much with larger male dogs. He also tends to be a bit of a mama's boy and can get jealous of attention given to others. Because of this, homes with children 10 years and older are recommended to ensure the best fit for both Chucky and the family. He would love a yard for his sniffing adventures!

Training & Support

Chucky is crate trained, but he prefers a cozy corner with a baby gate. He is working on his impulse control around small animals like rabbits and squirrels.
