Wilber is a sweet 2-year-old Chihuahua mix who weighs 10 pounds and has a very big heart. After coming from a hoarding situation, he is still learning that people and the world can be safe. He is shy and frightened, but with patience, kindness, and time, this precious little boy can begin to trust.

Ideal Home

Wilber needs a calm, patient home where he can decompress at his own pace. Sudden movements and loud noises frighten him, and a secure home with extra safety precautions is essential because he is a flight risk. Older, respectful children age 10 and over may be suitable. Another friendly dog may help him build confidence, and Wilber enjoys the comfort of other dogs and cozy beds.
