Mongo

Everyone meet Mongo! He came to us after being picked up as a stray with another dog named Sherman. It's hard to believe these sweet babies were left to fend for themselves, but thankfully we were able to find space for them. Now, Mongo is ready to find his forever family!

Mongo is a ball of sweet fuzziness who has mastered the art of being a super snuggler. He loves people and is learning to be more confident interacting with the large male and female dogs he's currently living with. He's a playful, fun guy who will likely be around 70 lbs as an adult. Mongo has a big personality and will sing for his dinner, then run as fast as he can to his crate before his food bowl. He takes his time eating and savors every bite. When he naps, his legs are stretched out in front and back, making it look like he's melted into the floor!

Mongo is still just a baby and is working hard on potty training and sleeping through the night. He's now starting to experience the big world on leash walks. He takes short car rides every day with no issues and slept through two 4-hour rides like a champ.

Ideal Home

Mongo would be fine with children over the age of 8 and is probably young enough to learn to live with dog-savvy cats.
