A little about them

Charcoal is a shy, gentle, exceptionally sweet Lab mix with a quiet, quirky personality. He enjoys peaceful companionship, lounging beside you, and receiving gentle pets without being clingy. He is observant, independent, and eager to please, moving through the world at his own soft pace.

Ideal Home

Charcoal would do best with someone patient, kind, and consistent who will give him time to adjust to new environments. He may thrive in an apartment or a home with a small yard. He gains confidence from friendly dogs but is also learning to be comfortable as an only dog. He seems to enjoy calm, gentle children.

Routine helps Charcoal feel secure. He is uneasy around unpredictable wind and seeks a safe space when he hears wind chimes, but he remains calm around loud, sudden noises such as fireworks and thunder.

Ongoing Health

Charcoal is fixed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and flea treated.

Training & Support

Charcoal is largely housebroken and does not chew things up when left alone. He comes confidently in through a dog door and is still learning to go out through it and to ask to go outside. With patience, he will likely learn to enjoy easygoing walks.
