A little about them

Bertie is a sweet, affectionate 7.5-year-old, 60-pound hound mix who loves walks, relaxing at home, and being close to her people. She was adopted as a puppy and is looking for a home with more companionship, a consistent routine, and plenty of exercise and interaction.

Ideal Home

Bertie would thrive with someone who can include her in daily life and provide regular attention and activity. She is friendly with people and may be happiest as the only dog. Slow, proper introductions are important when meeting other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Bertie’s $400 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, core Rabies and DPPV vaccinations according to AVMA standards, indicated preventative care, a microchip with lifetime registration, and a recent veterinary health check.

Training & Support

Bertie is house-trained and crate-trained. She completed an e-collar board-and-train program with Double Down Dog Training several years ago. Although those skills have not been consistently maintained, she has a good foundation and is working on polishing them again.
