Despite a difficult start, Samuel has remained trusting and incredibly sweet. Rescued and now in a loving foster home, he's learning what comfort and love feel like. Samuel can be a bit shy initially, preferring to observe new people and places before opening up. Once he feels safe, his soft, loving personality shines. He's calm, observant, and not one for drama – he's the companion who will quietly stay by your side and form a deep bond. Even with a leg injury and discomfort, Samuel has been cooperative and kind, a testament to his beautiful spirit. He is currently receiving all the veterinary care he needs to heal properly.

Transportation
Samuel is located in Houston, TX. Transport is available out of state. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
