Pocco is a very sweet, bouncy boy – a big old puppy who wants to please his people and get all the snuggles he can! He will benefit from some training in his future home, but he has a huge amount of potential and is smart, sweet, and eager to impress. Pocco has the biggest puppy-dog eyes, so he’ll have you wrapped around his paw in no time! During a brief stay in a foster home, Pocco did great with kids as young as 1.5 years old. He was well-behaved when left home alone, house-trained, and was described as friendly, calm, and a great hugger who thinks he’s a lap dog despite his size. Pocco is an absolute lovebug who wants nothing more than to crawl in your lap and give you kisses all day long. He may prefer getting affection to walking, but this big guy definitely needs to get some exercise too. He is quite good on the leash, except for stopping every so often to jump up for scratches behind the ears and snuggles. This sweet guy would do great in a loving home with lots of attention. He offered a sit when asked and is excited about treats, working on taking them gently and catching them in the air. He quickly learned to jump on and over agility equipment on command. Pocco loves cuddles and enjoys leaning into people, especially during walks. He enjoys rubs under his ears, chin, and chest. Pocco is a smartypants who will thrive with a bit of guidance and will make a great companion for an active person or family!
