Hello! I am Señor, a distinguished senior dog with shaggy long brown, black, and white fur. I’m medium-sized at 34 lb and estimated to be around 13 years old. I’ve already been dewormed, vaccinated, and neutered.
I was rescued from a busy boulevard after someone saw me wandering with an injured paw and took me to safety. I used to live at a business where I wasn't well cared for. My temporary home took me for a check-up where they found out that my paw injury is old, so I now have a bit of a limp. After that, they gave me a nice bath, and I came out looking like a movie star! I still walk with a limp because of the injury, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying my walks!
I went through a trial period with a family who adopted me, but it turns out that I can be a bit jealous of other male dogs. I have no problem with female dogs though, and I'm not aggressive. I can be around cats, but I don't go out of my way to interact with them. My favorite thing to do is sleep and rest, but I do enjoy going out for walks from time to time. When it's hot and I'm in front of a fan with the wind in my hair, it's heaven to me! I live totally indoors but I do like going out for fresh air and resting under a shade. If you're retired or work from home, I'd be an excellent companion! I hope to find a loving and responsible family that will take good care of me on my late stage of life.
Ideal Home
An ideal home for Señor would be with a retired individual or someone who works from home, as he enjoys companionship and a relaxed environment. He would do best in a home without other male dogs, but can coexist with female dogs and cats.
Ongoing Health
Señor has an old paw injury that causes him to have a slight limp. This does not prevent him from enjoying his walks. He has been dewormed, vaccinated, and neutered.
Training & Support
Señor can be a bit jealous of other male dogs, so he would need a home without them to ensure he feels comfortable and secure. He enjoys his rest but also likes his walks, so continuing to provide him with opportunities for both will be beneficial.
